Would said CD-i "file player" let one convert the files to a format that would make them useable outside of the player? Or is that something that completely uninterests you?
(In example, convert a .rtr to a .mp3?)

Releasing such a binary was discussed in close circle in the months before the version 0.5.2 release, but it was rejected because it would significantly lower the commitment required for using CD-i Emulator. Considering the entry barrier for its legal use (CD-i player, serial cable, CD-i Link, etc)...

What I was wondering is what are the stated 'goals' of the project? specificly what would be hindered by releasing it to a wider audience if money is no issue as he stated? I'm rather curious about this too. I've read this thread time and again, and either I'm blatently missing the answer, or one h...
