there are german only films too ... and a james bond box set (hand numbered) which includes 6 connery films and a book about the fims.

i have the star wars vcd set and the lord of the rings trilogy (and many many more) ... both play fine on my cdi players.

in fact it´s the best aspect of the jagCD ... only a few games were released for it - but the ´virtual light machine´ alone is worth it. the 3do was capable of something similiar - but nothing beats the sheer coolness of the original ´atari video music´ :D ! ... i have bought escape for the cdi some...

i have the atari jaguar vlm ... very nice! wish the cdi had that one built in.

if you are interested in the whole cds i could make copies and send them ... for the commercials i could send them by mail (13,6mb).

First of all - almost everything on these discs is in german. they came out on a monthly basis (mostly 1995) and came in card boxes labeld "demo disc - nicht zum verkauf bestimmt" (not for retail). in its heydays (did the cdi have anything like that? ) there where several tv commercials starring a g...

i have several disks named "cdi titel neuheiten" (cdi title news) with tv-commercials, music videos, game ads and other cdi reated stuff. is there anything similiar in english?

thanks for your reply - unfortunatly they didn´t work for me ... i have a gamester joypad somewhere - if i find it i´ll try again. maybe thats more accurate. it is hard to tell if i´ve managed to enter the right commands with the philips pad ...

thought maybe in english there were more released than in german. so no secret service and golden gun ... in germany exists a nice package by philips including the six connery films and a book about the series until goldeneye - in a card box.

i got my 370 from ebay germany ... i thought the official case was a hardcase - i really like the big cdi logo :D it would be nice because i don´t have the original packaging for my player. unfortunatly the battery back doesn´t work any more so there´s no point carrying it around. i believe that i w...

now that is interesting ... i´m studying german linguistics and used the tool in an essay. i used it to translate a poem by morgenstern and the result was quite good! but in many other cases it was total rubbish.

ah ok ... never played it on the amiga. i use my 370 to watch vcds - i really have a lot of them (i couldn´t find any list too). a way better combination than any portable dvd player! ... haven´t seen portable cdi devices on ebay germany for a while. is that case for the 370 worth getting?
