What about Pac-Panic, is it rare? I ask because it seems that it goes for a pretty high price, even at GoodDealGames.com (best prices and selection on new sealed CD-i titles) it goes for $34.75

Great advice! I removed the cd drive and used a screwdriver to lift up on the plate. Works like a charm! But now I can't play digital media, it says that I don't have a digital video card installed, but I do. Guess I'll try re-seating it and see if that helps.

Well, I went out today and found some black rubber bands small enough for a makeshift belt. Now the cd drawer opens and closes as it should, but the disc does not spin. I hope Cricklewood Electronics ships internationaly.

Upon further inspection of my 220, I noticed that when I slide the cd tray in and out of the drive I can see a gear turning. I then removed the face-plate from the 220 and located the motor that powers the cd tray, I then noticed that there is no belt connecting the cd tray motor to the gear that tu...

Philips 220/37 cd drive problem

*edit* Oops sorry, I just noticed that I should have posted this in the Tech thread.* I just got my Philips CD-i 220/37 in the mail today and to my disappointment the cd drive seems to be messed up. The system was shipped to me in its original box and packaging and seemed to be pretty well packed. H...

Hopefully someone will find the scans usefull. Arcade Classics, Little Monster at School, A Visit to Sesame Street (Letters), A visit to Sesame...

Its kind of hard to explain why I like it so much. It was one of my favorite games as a child. It is essentially a text adventure with still images of each room in the castle. You play Jair, a brave knight who has been sent to Castle Shadowgate to stop the evil Wizard from completing his spell of de...

I am keeping a close eye on this project. My hope is that it becomes as great an emulator as magic Engine is for the PC Engine/Turbo Grafx 16. Full support of all roms, isos and even plays the original CD games straight from your PCs CD-ROM drive.

Viva la CD-i Emulator!

I have no problem in paying a resonable price for a fully functional CD-i emulator. Besides, when programers actually get paid for their work it encourages them to keep updating the program. Just look at Magic Engine ( http://www.magicengine.com ) the PC Engine/Turbo Grafx 16 emulator. It is the abs...

That would be great! If/when I get my hands on some issues I will be sure to make pdf files of them as well. Next week I will be getting 20+ CD-i games. I will be scanning all of the games covers and manuals to make available to the Black Moon Project. By the way, if you guys come across a CD-i game...

Speaking of the CD-i magazines. Are there any sources to buy back issues? Or maybe even an online archive?

Yeah thanks, this site and forum has been a great help, as I am a new CD-i fan. There are all kinds of "hints" to there being a CD-i version of Shadowgate, but as you said it was more than likely never released. I was taking a shot in the dark hoping that my favorite game would have been made for my...

Shadowgate for CD-i?

I have found several references hinting that the game Shadowgate was released on the CD-i. However, the Black Moon Project does'nt list it.

Does anybody here know for sure if Shadowgate was released on the CD-i?

Thanks guys!

These games were called the ICOM Trilogy. It consisted of three games, Shadowgate, Deja Vu and Uninvited. Shadowgate was by far the best title of the series IMHO. These games are also available for the NES. How I wish these games were ported to the CD-I. Here is a pretty good link... http://www.just...
