I know I shouldn't sell it all at once. i just don't have much spare time in my life right now. Yes, the Kyocera is brand new. I only took it out of the box to test it once or twice. My wife has already asked me several times "are you sure you want to sell all of this?" We'll see how it goes. I set ...

I hate to do this but........
Well folks, I have not been online much in the last 2 years due to so many changes in my life but that being said and without getting into this too much, I have decided to part with my HUGE CD-i collection. Yes I have been collecting for 15 years! The auction will start on ebay this evening at 7PM P...

Now I feel guilty! I have had so much going on that I completely forgot to look for it in my parents basement! LOL On another note, I just finished FTPing all videos from the CD-i 1994 winter sampler cd to ftp.cdinteractive.co.uk! I will make my self a note this time and take a good look for it in t...

Re: Titanic: An Interactive Exploration
I think one of the neatest things about this title is the fact that it lists almost every passenger from the ship and what their fate was... Also lists the class at which they cruised. I actually found a couple of distant relatives on the list! Do you have it? The Collective rates it very high, what...

Re: Shark Alert (CapDisc)
I have this disc. No DV required. There is a little shark quiz game and the rest of the disc is a very informative view of sharks with small video sequences of a sharks feeding frenzy, the way their bodies work, etc. Another title i can't find a lot about. If you have any info you can share on this ...

Contact information
Sorry it has taken me a bit to get back to you. I just spoke with the gentleman this evening and he has 4 cd-i 490 units left for sale. He is also giving us our choice of wired controllers with the unit. He has the sega style gamepad as one choice! I have one unit on the way to me as we speak! His n...

CD-i 490 for sale
There is a gentleman I have been in contact with who has 19... Yes, I said 19, CD-i 490 units for sale. I might pick one up for my self just to add to my collection. Depending on condition, he is selling each one for between 35 and 60 US dollars. I am truly not that familiar with the 490 model. Is t...

Re: the worst CD-i game ...
what is, in your opinion, the worst cd-i game ever made? And, more importantly, why? I think, as i can think of it, Dark Castle being the worst game made for cd-i. I really can't imagine Philips actually approved this title. The game is really not playable, and I've NEVER seen a platformer move on ...

What's with all the anti-american sentiment?
Look guys.. The USA is a huge country. Every city is different in regards to how people act and how you can expect to be treated. The people in my city are very friendly but the drivers stink. I have been all around the world and the drivers pretty much suck everywhere. I myself do not eat bee...

Door problem
Have you tried using the door switch without a disc in the cd-i? It is very common for the cd-i 210 units when the laser pickup system does not read the disc correctly, it will essentially "lock up" the system and you will need to cycle the power to get it to work again. My guess is that you have a ...

But it will be an analog grab and not exactly identical to the original. You really have no idea how bad even s-video is until you've seen the digital originals, which so far has only been possible for CD-i developers. For audio of course, the difference is usually neglegible. TRUE TRUE...............

CD-i artwork and sound
If you really want to grab an image or sound from a cd-i player, why not do what I do? I have one of my cd-i players plugged into my video capture board on my computer. I do this with s-video and rca patch cables. You can easily record or take a snapshot of anything you want.
