Theres a coin battery in these players, some of which require some crazy methods of replacing. Im not familiar with the models with the easily replaceable battery. YES.... that helped alot thank you.... for all those reading this in hopes of finding a solution to a similar problem, when all else fails, use a different CD ROM drive to get the data track off the disk.. In my case, an older CDROM did the trick... thanks

thanks but now I get a 135 mb file with no usable data on it... I extracted it as RAW data and I also tried extracting it into RAW data thats converted into user data... neither work... and I cant convert the bin file i get from it to ISO using ultraISO or anything because it doesnt recognise it as ...

31 bucks is lot of money lol.. :P well, from the authors point of view, not many people are going to want to play this system in the first place so then it is probably a good price to get the most profit out of it for the work put in... however, paying for updates would be down right JACKED :)

its funny, Ive actually had a cdi BIOS for quite some time now but didnt realize it... :D I dont remember where it came from... must have gotten it from an IRC months ago...
