Re: Pure M2F2 Audio discs ? Is that a thing ?

> so this could have worked. My guess (still) is these are background music discs. I have no idea how to interpret the data. Assuming it's a wave format (like Audio CD) then I could simply add a *.wav header and play the audio. Perhaps it's not that simple though, perhaps a compression was used, I h...

No, I fear nobody will see this :)
I had to get passed two scary screens on my system warning me the link is unsafe etc.

Re: Pure M2F2 Audio discs ? Is that a thing ?

I'm starting to think this is BGM CD (Background Music CD) but without a CD-i program on the disc.
I just came across this: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=903 and it looks oddly similar.

Pure M2F2 Audio discs ? Is that a thing ?

I have a question with many unknowns and I may even be totally barking up the wrong tree. I have been going through old image files for which I had no solution nor explanation when I received them. From time to time I look into old things again to see if I can make sense of them now. While doing thi...

Re: CD-i System ROMS

OMG, I'm seeing this message +12 years too late :)
But to answer your question: No, those tools were written before I could even write software myself :)
I only started much later, when I was not involved with CD-i anymore, as a hobby.

Re: IsoBuster file extraction issue

I could not access the forum while this topic was still 'warm' but now that I can I won't put too much time in this anymore (unless requested) and just say that this issue is resolved and the fix will be in next version (IsoBuster 4.1).
Prod me meanwhile if you need a link to a temp version.

I suppose JK@IP has been involved in this Inquiry ? Anyway, - Yep, I'm the one and only :P - Neko, how do we know eachother ? I have no contacts inside Microware, so I can't help, but I'll be monitoring progress. I was involved with CD-i yet my knowledge on topic only grew afterwards, when I was doi...

From your point of view you could upload all software, as long as you include a disclaimer about that. That doesn't really make sense... That's definitly not what I meant. I also didn't know the details behind the ROM licenses and the fact that it is still "so hot". I just figured that Philips woul...

CD-i System ROMS

I wonder ... With CD-i being so old and (to my knowledge) no Philips support for it anymore, would it be so wrong to include the CD-i System ROMS in the download ? - You could offer them seperately on the site but have people check a checkbox first (disclaimer) where they assure that they own such a...
