We had a 'Lil Champ' CD-i arcade machine on Interactive Dreams in 2009:

But it's a different one because this one was using a Magnavox CD-i 210! Interesting find, but I doubt it's custom made...

Nothing special though. All old regular titles. The last bid I saw was over 90 bucks (way too much in my opinion)

I'm interested to see the prototype list!

Have you ever fully played them? I spent many hours playing Zelda: Wand of Gamelon and if the cover art was all that was good about this game, I would have stopped playing far earlier :)

Considering your friend gave it to you now, I don't think you know :o

Very nice details seb! I think Viridis was set up by a couple of young inexperienced guys, made a plan about about a Zelda game, sent it to Philips. Philips granted them money, and they started to code. I believe in their mind the game got bigger and bigger, and they had to cut it somewhere. Interes...

On the 450 I remember the lid has a small pin that is pushed in when the player is closed, and perhaps there is dust in it that prevents good contact?
Maybe some blowing does the trick?

I like Steel Machine a lot, but it is VERY difficult. I think it's might be the hardest CD-i game I ever played. I had a lot of trouble to beat the first level :D (I never finished it). Perhaps that says more about me
