Crazy. I paid 33 Euro for mine, and it was on eBay as well. I guess if I would list it on eBay now with the new and working battery, it would sell for 300 Euro...

CD-i 370 A/V IN pin assignment

Does anyone know the pin assignment of the CD-i 370's A/V IN connector?

You can always find one on eBay. Here is one, currently at $68:

I have a cdi 450 and the DVC was already built in to it. But the DVC batch wasn't on the machine. Probably because the DVC was often added by the dealer, which didn't care about the badge, and the 450 was sold as a 550 then. This was done with my 450 as well. The DVC was already inserted and the bo...

Windowskiller, that black part that is on top of the left side of the player (still following me? ), I remember I asked it before, but I forgot: was that some kind of seal or a lock? That's a badge saying "Digital Video". Afaik, it was included with every 22ER9956 DVC starting with /20. At least, e...

Yes, you could still open it. It's actually a 450 with no modifications. On the bottom side there was even the old label saying "CDI 450/00" with the 550 label just glued over it.

Just noticed that I still have a photo of my old CD-i 550 on my harddisk. I thought I share it, as many here probably never saw a boxed 550.

Don't buy. £90 is too much, even if it would have the Docking Station + DVC included. The Docking Station is impossible to come by separatly, and without it, the 350 is rather useless -- unless you are a hard-core Philips / CD-i collector.

Nice pictures, looks almost as good (or bad ;)) as my 450. By the way, don't forget to buy a digital video cartridge, otherwise you can not play a lot of CD-i games. In ricardo factory-sealed is a declaration of the condition, and if the box isn't in that condition, it's a false declaration. "factor...

So @rdjnl with which opinion you don't agree? I don't understand :? I guess he means that you made such a bargain and still complain about some transparent (!!!) adhesive tape on the box. "Factory-sealed" says nothing about the condition of an item's box after all. I've hold back my personal opinio...

When I bought my first CD-i 550 long time ago, the situation was quite similar. I spent lots of money for it, as it was complete and in great condition. But when it finally arrived, I was shocked. The seller just sticked the address label on the box of the CD-i 550 (!!!) and sent it that way. Of cou...

I think that was the CD-i 740. Quite hard to find, however. Get a 370 instead, that's by far the coolest of all. :D

I think Trev is talking about the battery that powers the nvram. Otherwise I really misunderstood his question. ;) Is there any home console that is more reliable when it comes to battery life? The newer the better are the chances that the battery is still working. But they weren't meant to last tha...

In case someone wants to take a look at the German version:

http://www.retro-net.de/cdi/370_akku_de.htm

I'm not fully satisfied with it and will update it slightly before I start with the English translation, but it's complete and all instructions are correct (well, I hope so... ;)).
