I have a cdi 450 and the DVC was already built in to it. But the DVC batch wasn't on the machine.

I've always been curious about it too.

When I posted my problem I didn't have any other controller to connect to the machine.

But now I do. It turns out that the i/o port of the machine works fine. So it must indeed by some kind of hardware incompatibility.

I recently bought a Philips cd-i 470/20.

When I connected my gamepad I noticed it didn't work. It works fine with my cd-i 450.

Any idea what might be the problem? I connected it to both the front port as well as the port at the back.

Am I doing something wrong?

The Philips cd-i 450 with DVC that I was talking about came in a cd-i 450 box on which they glued a paper stating that it contained the DVC. I always thought Philips did that, not the seller. It came with a 450 manual and a seperate DVC manual. I think it is possible to take the DVC out, but I never...
