 Yeah, I'm a big CD-I fan, and I've been a Tony Trippi fan for a while now, too ;) Mr. Trippi himself lists the bolded titles on his site under "Portfolio," but some games (like the Palm Springs Open) aren't listed. I've actually e-mailed him about sharing some of his memories of producing musi...

By releasing the source code to CD-I Emulator, CD-I Fan would be, in effect, giving the program away for free.

Tony Trippi - Musician of the Hour

Tony Trippi -- I love this guy. He's behind the music found in numerous CD-I titles: Alice in Wonderland Philips, 1992 Laser Lords Philips, 1992 Link: The Faces of Evil Philips, 1993 Paint School I Philips, 1991 Paint School II Philips, 1990 Pyramid Adventures CDI, 1993 Mutant Rampage: Bodyslam Phil...

Both Zelda - Wand Of Gamelon and Link - Faces of Evil seem to check to make sure that everything adds up before accepting the data in the NVRAM as being a valid saved game. These are the only titles I have encountered with this sort of check.

I managed to work with it, though. ;)

Yeah, I put that watermark on there because I plan on doing a special feature about the CD-I Zelda games at ZeldaPower.com :)

Hurray! I just beat Zelda: Wand Of Gamelon entirely on the amazing CD-I Emulator! :D

Modifying NVRAM

Hey, I'm trying to use a hex editor to modify values in my cdi205a.nvr file. I'm hoping to tweak the file and give my saved character a little boost ;) I'm almost certain I've located the values I'm looking for, but I have found that changing even just a single byte in the NVRAM from what it was sav...

Come on, it's just 31 USD. That's not asking very much for five years of dedicated coding! I can see where you're coming from about the "major update" deal, but you do get a considerable discount if you're already a paying customer.

Sorry, double post. Are the mouse controls the only control scheme available on the emulator at this point? It's pretty good, but there's plenty of situations where they just don't work out very well. While the arrow keys are less accurate than the mouse, they do offer quite a bit more overal contro...

I believe he's refering to the intro animation where the disc flies into the Phillips CD-I logo as if it was a CD-I player.

I'm planning on paying for this excellent software immediately. One question, though. When I pay via paypal, where can I expect you to send the details for acquiring the unlimited edition? I'm guessing the e-mail address associated with my paypal account, or do I have to specify an address?
