Homebrew Player ROM?

Is it possible to write a very simple player ROM? I could see this making the process of running the cd-i emulator a lot less daunting to people who aren't quite as technically informed and wouldn't be able to figure out the whole nullmodem cable and cd-i'nterlink program. Though I'm certainly not s...

The main problem with the N64 was the developmental hurdles one had to overcome to get a decent game out. Since the graphics of the system were the best of anything at the time, that meant you needed to put a lot more work (and money) into making the game really shine. The PlayStation was so much ea...

EaO, you have never played the games so keep an open mind. It was 1993, remember :P

The hand-drawn background art is truly well-done, and the music (by Tony Trippi) is great early 90's new age stuff.

I believe it's supposed to come out within a week or so, but I suppose only CD-I Fan knows for certain! :) And I'm sorry -- this is going to come off sounding stupid on my part, but how can I get the CD-I games I own onto my computer as BIN Files? I'm sure there's an FAQ somewhere that I didn't read...

Just be thankful that someone was dedicated and smart enough to put this piece of software together. Honestly, give it a bit. Demanding it like this just makes you look bad.

And the same goes for that chain of emoticons you add to your posts.

It was sort of a sarcastic comment, actually. Well, if not sarcastic, it at least lacked seriousness.

But I see your point about the shelf space. It's sort of an odd shape, isn't it?

Extracting Resources From A CD-I Rom

I am very excited and thankful for a true CD-I emulator to finally be in existance, so please don't think my following question is the product of a lack of gratitude. One thing I have really wanted to do for a long time now is dump specific resources from a CD-I ROM to my computer (i.e. sprites or b...

WoG and FoE were my first Zelda games ever, though as a very big Zelda enthusiast, I have to say my first *real* Zelda game was Link To The Past. :P But honestly, I loved WoG and FoE. They suffered quite a bit from bad controls and creepy Russian animations, but I didn't notice that at all when I wa...

My first one was either Richard Scary's Busiest Neighborhood Ever or Richard Scary's Biggest Neighborhood Disc Ever. Ack.. I can't even remember the exact names! Any way, I loved those games so much. I never got tired of all the funny animation clips and things. Great stuff :)

CDI 910 Battery Is Dead

Hey, I have a CDI 910 from way back in the day, and I absolutely love it. Sadly, I found that the internal battery has finally died (the system's memory and clock are cleared every time I turn the power off). Does anyone know where the battery is located on this machine and if it is at all replaceab...
