That's certainly a grey area, i'd rather we seek permission from the publisher first. I suspect they wouldn't particularly care but it's best to follow the correct path.

CD-i plays PAL/NTSC and CDr Media so no need for any chip or BOOT CD!! No CD-ice never went open source, in the end only the Rise of the Robots trial version was released. Usually most CD-i players can read CDr media but in some cases most notably with the 400/500 series of console styled systems it can get a bit fussy about what coloured CDr media you use. A good quality silver media should do the trick.

Don't know what it is about the GTA games, I get wrapped up in them for weeks and then just drop it and never return!! I think because it lacks a really emotive story line. For example a game series like Metal Gear Solid really drags me in and i'm in for the entire ride, Hideos work is a kin to gami...

The above list gives an interesting mix of titles it should be interesting to see how people respond to each game.

Wouldn't it be easier just to select with a remote what program you wanted to run? Still this is very interesting in a skillo funky kinda way
