I know that the DVS VE-200 has a special remote, and that it was made in Korea. Does anybody have more information about the remote? Does it have dedicated play/pause buttons and all that? Does a 'normal' cdi remote also work on the VE-200 player? On Interactive dreams it was stated that the DVS is ...

I have one for sale. It is in near-perfect condition, really nice, and plays perfectly. I normally sell my more rare CDI games using ebay, but I have been very busy lately, so I haven't had the time to put them online. The discs I sold earlier this year, I sold for an average price of GBP 85,- But s...

I just tested with a PAL CDI-450 player and a WinTV PVR 250 card (also european PAL). I used the directshow capture device option in VLC player, it works fine (on all the games I tried including 7th Guest, also the cdi menu works perfectly). It really depends on your capture card and software. It sh...

I am planning on making a personal blog/website I would love that! Just about CD-i? You know how to build something 'professional'? With a lot of CD-i sites being dead, new initiatives are highly welcome! :D I want to get familiar with the Django framework (a Python based framework for web developm...

If you want to trade Zelda's Adventure for the Smurfs game? :-) I have a mint condition Zelda's adventure that I would happily trade for that title! (somehow I doubt you will accept the offer, being a real CD-I collector) I really would love to have that game, hmm why didn't I know about that ebay a...

Hi, It also very much depends on what you call games. A lot of informational cdis have been released and also a lot of children's cdi discs. Some titles that could be considered as games(partly at least), and some children's titles that spring to mind (and are not included yet): All the Fun of the F...

what exactly does it take to excite CD-i collectors? it seems nothing! I mean this is the most rare game ever released and people don't even care. Master System collectors literally wet their pants over the SMS smurfs game which is not even as rare! if the rarest cd-i game does nothing for CD-i col...

The games on the cd-i were a lot more original compared to 3DO (Burn cylce, 7th Guest, Lost Ride, Solar Crusade) Also the arcade conversion like Dragon's liar and Mad Dog McCree look a lot better on cd-i. Other consoles of the time like SegaCD/MegaCD, Amiga cd32 and Jaguar CD have a very bad collect...

cdi-740 player on marktplaats

it isn't mine, but somebody is selling a ultra rare CDI-740 player on marktplaats.nl:

http://link.marktplaats.nl/166616128

He is asking a minimum of 300 euros for the unit.
He doesn't even bother to add a picture (would be nice to see what you are buying for that amount of money).

cool, I didn't know that.

Most of my cdi discs are bought in the Netherlands, so that could explain why I haven't seen this disc .

BTW do you still want the DVD with all the pictures of CD-I items?
