Having the same problem with my very first CDi! no disc will spin and getting ERR message - however the dish solution hasn't worked and I suspect a burnt out motor . Without even playing my first disc it is now with a philips repair shop!

I now have one woo hoo! a 220 with FMV cart!
Now I just need something to play on it!

Got snipered today on evil bay at my first attempt at buying a CD-I.
I'm an active member of the sister 3do site and some of you I know already!
I am looking for a reasonably good condition unit and a few games to start off collecting.
I pay/trade quickly and fairly
