Are you sure that the additional levels are on the disc?
Theoretically they could have been downloaded from the Internet.
Although the download speeds available at that time would argue against that!

Re: SBR CDI 4000
That looks very much like an OEM version of the Philips CDI 470. Is it possible to get a look at the stickers on the back of the player?

I've posted last June, perhaps you should check my posting history before drawing such conclusions?
Anyway, CD-i Emulator is not dead but certainly on a long hiatus...

Re: cdiemu payment and registration
I paid for the full version of this nice emulator via PayPal more than one week ago but havent received an answer yet...what can I do? Holler loud and clear, which you just did! I've just sent you the registration mail. For some reason I didn't get the PayPal "funds received" mail message, but logg...

That is just spam, please just ignore it (probably anything posted by user ResEvots).
I've been trying to get the forum moderators to remove it but they all seem asleep...

Re: Thumb stick RC5/ Commander RC6
The CD-I 370 is a rebranded Goldstar GPI 1200 player, not a Philips model. I suspect that the Goldstar players do not even have an IR receiver.
And if they did, it would probably not recognize the Philips-authored RC5/RC6 protocols.
Note that the above is just conjecture, I have no hard data on this.

Re: CDi 370 Manual..Link or download.
The Philips CD-i 370 is a rebranded Goldstar GPI 1200. I haven't seen an online manual under either label, though.
You could try asking the owner of this one: http://www.freetimeweb.nl/home/electro/ ... i_370.html...
Devin also has one of these, but I don't know if he has a manual?

Re: Green Book now publicly available?
Thanks for the info! Webadmin at lscdweb says: With Philips permission, Adminius made this page with a download available to registered visitors available August 2011. Does this mean that the Green Book is not really intended to be "downloadable" to all people, only to registered visitors of the sit...

Green Book now publicly available?
Yesterday I found out that in May of this year, the Wikipedia entry for Green Book (CD standard) was updated with a link to the Green Book Version May 1994, Release 2 . The page states: However, the 1994 version of the standard was eventually made available for free by Philips. The provided link poi...

CD-i interview on Radio 1 (Netherlands)
I've been reliably informed that tonight there's going to be a short interview (5 to 10 minutes) about CD-i on the Dutch radio station "Radio 1". It's supposed to be aired somewhere between 4 am and 5 am (GMT+2), in the program "Nu Al Wakker" (Already Awake?) by WNL. If you're awake (and understand ...
