Doing a little more testing, it seems like they dislike CD-R media as well. :P

Well, I received it today! It cleaned up very nicely and it really feels like a tough unit. Games seem to load fine, and the menu interface for the system isn't too bad (although not quite as nice as the Philiips one as I saw some say in older posts). It's also tiny, which is great. The downer: Ther...

I am pretty sure it's just the base unit with the unique pointing device and the hookups. It looks like it will need some cleaning-up too, but as long as it works I don't mind! :)

Kyocera Pro 1000S?

I just purchased this on eBay. I have never seen it before, so I figured it's probably uncommon. Doing a search for it on this forum also brings me little information. My question is: Did I overpay? My intuition says it's probably worth it, at least from a collectibility standpoint. I was interested...

I think it would work.

And if you want to get really complicated, try to pull a strategy card-based game like Culdcept. Now *that* would be awesome.

It's a shame because the visuals don't look that bad considering it was an early CD-i title. But from what I understand, no home port was good to begin with and nothing beats the Mac original.

Stickying it when finished is a great idea, IMO. Properly catalogued CD-i information is tough to come by and a full games list like this for easy access will be a very useful tool. :)

Length of Mutant Rampage Bodyslam?

I got around to playing a little Mutant Rampage last week and managed to clear the first three selectable levels (i.e., clearing the first three boss/villains). Afterwards it replaced those three selectable stages with three more. The first three took a while to complete and admittedly got monotonou...

I don't know but I'd think it would. Asides from the decoder it's basically just extra RAM, right? :)

This one is in the US but ships worldwide. Currently on auction (not Buy It Now) with one bid at $8 USD. It looks to be complete: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Philips-CD-I-Digital-Video-Cartridge-22-ER9141-/220863477132?pt=Video_Games&hash=item336c7d358c If the link for some reason does not work, it's it...
