also when you finally do finish one despite the traps and dead ends, figuring everything out yourself. its very rewarding, at least for me. btw quest for glory 1-4 is the best, way ahead of it's time a unique cross-genre RPG-graphic adventure with the most awesome stories and side quests. a true epi...

ah i get what you mean now, like you can stuff up the whole game if you make a wrong decsision. I thought you meant an actual dead end like a screen where you couldn't go any further or something. i remember leisure suit larry 2 in particular had many ways which you could screw it up. you had to mak...

id have to disagree with you. not sure what you mean by dead ends as lucasarts games have dead ends too. the sierra graphic adventures is what got me into adventures. the first one i've ever played was the first leisure suit larry. also if you think the graphics have aged horribly some of the games ...

you might be able to find some 205, 210, 220 players sold as "refurbished" which have had the battery replaced. but they would be more expensive because people expect to make a little bit of money for the effort of replacing the battery. the battery in a brand new player such as DVS VE-200 should la...

Beneath a Steel Sky is definitely brilliant, totally agree with you on that. :) Indeed! I've read a couple of older posts about trying to get this game and Scummvm on CD-i. It would have been awesome. yeah I made that post. bit of a pipe dream though for someone with little to no programming experi...

I really miss co-op play. 2-player games on CD-i seem to be an after thought. (how many are there, like a dozen?)
yeah about that many simultaneous 2 player games. I think there are a fair bit of 2 player games that take in turns though

just burn some games, it's even easier then with CD-i. try out of this world, freaking amazing port of that game. although FMV games don't burn very well. I bought a brand new copy of cyberia and sometimes that even stuffs up for some reason. maybe it's my player though, i just got a cheap goldstar ...
