However, it's somewhat difficult to find people who own the system and are interested in writing about it.
I wish I had the time to write some reviews, but I'm somehow more interested in writing about unreleased games. :D

No offence, but if someone starts with " This is your change to get one of the rarest video game systems on the PLANET! ", then you can be sure that stupid people who never heard of CD-i before will bid and push up price to far what it's worth. I really hate that, sellers should learn to describe th...

Never really thought about that... The 12 required Ni-MH cells alone are already 42 Euro (+5.60 for shipping, which I have to pay as well). Another 8.70 Euro to send the battery back to you, and of course a few bucks for my work. ;) 75 Euro or so I would say. That's quite a lot and the main reason w...

Re: WANTED Battery for cdi 370

[...] how easy/hard are these to find? any info would be gratefully received. It's impossible to find working ones, unless they are refurbished. The cells inside the battery weren't meant to last that long. Anyway, I've successfully refurbished the battery of my 370 and wrote a tutorial about how t...

The site's address is http://gtw3do.retro-net.de, but it's not up yet.

I'm looking for any piece of information about M2, so whatever you have, please contribute. :) If you know about cancelled 3DO games (not M2), please let me know as well.

If it wasn't this:

http://gtwforum.retro-net.de/index.php? ... 251#msg251

then I don't know. I've posted the same list on the ASSEMbler forums, but that isn't dedicated to 3DO either.

Re: 3DO & 3DO M2

I recently saw that someone had made a message board about 3DO and the M2, and I recognized the name from this forum (I think it was Windowskiller?) Are you sure it was a message board dedicated to 3DO and M2 and not just a sub-section of a message board? There are a couple of boards where I posted...

Is there perhaps a pdf file of the 370's service manual floating around? It should contain the information I need.

Just to avoid confusion, the first photo shows a real 550 with a dedicated box. The second picture (with the 550 label) is from my CD-i 450 with the DVC inserted by the dealer (and sold as a "fake" 550). I guess if Philips ever sold 450s with the DVC added by the factory, they should have the badge ...

the badge is on the picture of the box so I don't believe the DVC was added by the dealer. Which box are you talking about now? If there is a CD-i 450 box showing a 450 with the badge, please share a photo, as I've never seen one. you should have kept the tape on the box, and opened with a knife al...
