Hmm, I just found the basic manual for the 180 and a warranty card :). Not much interesting inside, but it refers to a "technical manual" for professional use of the machine which can be seperately ordered. Has anyone seen the technical manual? And what goes into the two expansion slots of the CDI182?

But basically you just connect the 182 module to the rest of your system and it should be running. The software should be in the ROM, so the floppy drives, scsi and network ports should be working right away. The disc you're referring to is not a bootdisk like a MS-DOS bootdisk. You don't need it to...

Yes, it needs DVC. I played it for a bit, it looks like you're playing a journalist in "world company" and you need to get higher in the company. The first parts seems like a point-and-click adventure in a drawn environment. Of course when you don't understand French, it's a bit pointless :).

Comes with a 31-page hardcover booklet with instructions and a description of the characters. The game is based on a popular French puppet series portraying celebreties (there's also a German version of this show).

No, there certainly are other 3rd party CD-i controllers. Card readers, barcode scanners, trackball and a jamma board.

The Tom & Tim preview also shows some sort of 3d-environment (pre-rendered of course), so it could be a first concept or part 1 in the series.

I wouldn't call it particularly rare. Take in mind that when you're selling, it's in your best interest to call something rare. Also take in mind that I live in Holland where rarity is somewhat different....
