I saw the price of the emu in the other thread. Does that include future updates like when you implement MVC support? Will you accept bugreports and work on these - i.e. will you offer support in future? Regarding your "compatibility list for players" - if you have good support for the 220, you shou...

One more day til september :-)~

CDi-Fan, how is your release schedule looking?

Any plans for MVC support in the foreseeable future?

Note to admin: we need a drool emoticon :D

Ruekov, I checked the lists. Edutainment we tested (at least, those titles that I recall) were Albero Azurro, Berenstain Bears, Cartoon Jukebox, CDi mit der Maus, Crayon Factory, Dark Fables, Flintstones/Jetsons, not sure about Francais Maths but it rings a bell, Mother Goose, Muzzy, Naftaline, PAWS...

Looking for Bang & Olufsen CDi title

I'm looking for a special CDi title I worked on as a tester. This was a special disc, as it was never sold in shops. It came as a demo disc with the Bang & Olufsen TVs with built-in CDi players. It had some first-time features such as MPEG loops. The camera would turn 360 degrees showing a panorama,...

Dame was Loaded rings a bell. Never knew it wasn't released, didn't like it much from what I recall :) Kind of film-noir adventure type game, right? With those cliche accents and dialogs... I liked Myst better :D Ack... reminds me... I did Space Ace too ... yuck! And some kind of retest of Dra...

Yeah, we used them for tests. But basically, those were OS9 system floppies, it looked and felt a bit like MSDOS. So you could do i.e. file operations on a command line, just like DOS

Re: kuroneko

Thanks man, sounds great. Must have been a nice job over there... Do you mind telling us a bit more about it? Like, how titles were handled when testing, what kind of problems showed up the most, what kind of unreleased titles have been tested That's quite a novel you want me to write  Nice jo...

I remember getting a bugreport on one of these, and it was in considerable detail. Must have been before you dropped them... We had to fiddle mightily to debug it; the stupid @*@#* thing wouldn't accept the "standard" serial download protocol we used for consumer player debugging (and now happily (...

who are you? Mystery Neko... hope you don't mind if I don't give my realname. Used to work on CDi testing at Philips Interactive Media Centre in Hasselt, Belgium. Literally sat thousands of hours in front of CDi players hooked to Philips 8833 14" monitors. Ruined my eyes :D Long time ago though, so...

Nah, Philips CDi mouse, trackball and gamepad (the bulky one, not the old Nintendo-lookalike :))

Reminds me, I better invite the guy over here :)

Yeah, those are the #%%@#$... :) They always were a pain to test discs on, and because they gave so many errors, we just tested if discs started up, played the bumper and went to the menu. If they did, test passed

605 with cart

Just sold my 220/60 and about all other hw and sw to a Dutch guy :)

Hopefully, I'll soon sell the 605 too :D - if the emulator works well. I really don't have room for all that old stuff anymore, but would like to keep playing about 20 titles I kept.

Peter Gabriel's Explora? Or was there never a "normal" edition? Got a big box sitting on a shelf here... Will post pic if it fits the bill.
