Wow, the 370 is that intelligent? :D I thought it would just try to charge forever.

The battery's case is definitely glued together. Seems like there's no other way than ripping the upper part off and rebuild it after the cells are replaced. :(

Since I don't have the manual for the 370 and it's also not available from Philips, how does the battery charging works? When I plug in the power supply, the battery light goes on for about 10 seconds, then it starts to flash. Does the flashing indicate that the battery is charging or that the unit ...

Wanted: Manuals for Philips CD-i 350 and 370

Language should be German, English or multilingual (preferred). Condition must be very good to mint, no missing pages, stains or so...

Wow, where did you get those boxed players from? The Goldstar and Sony portable units are rare as hell, let alone boxed. Unbelievable!

It certainly wasn't. That picture is not related to the CD-i at all. I think it was part of the Super Mario Bros. 2 promotion. I'll see if I can find the issue tomorrow, then I know for sure.

Are you sure? I know the back cover doesn't say that a DVC is needed, but when I tried it once on a player without a DVC, it did not start.

There is a guy in Antwerp who can open the battery pack you currently have, and put in new rechargeables, so that you can continue to use the same battery pack. Anyone ever tried that oneself? I've just won a 370 (for 33 Euro, still can't believe it, not to mention the 470 I won for 2 Euro a few da...

Very nice unit! I never knew that there were other portable players than the 3xx series. Was that "Intelligent Discman" equipped with a DVC?
