Not to spoil all the fun, but I see some problem with copyrights for this deck of cards. So you might be able to make a set for yourself as fair use, but selling them will probably be out of the question legally.

Never seen "what it's worth" either... Although in theory it could be a title with very limited distribution if it were a professional disc.

I wouldn't know where to put all the stuff if all my cd-i players were still in their original boxes :).

IIRC the professional players would come in white boxes with some artwork. I've regularly seen boxed CD-i 450 players at flea markets here.

The CDI210 box behind me is marked "CDI210 PRO", kind of makes me wonder if there was a difference in the consumer and professional models.

The board is not really that special, it translates the arcade buttons to a cd-i controller format and there's a small audio amplifier onboard. There's also a security option in the ROM so that the title does not run without the board attached. You could also take apart a CD-i controller and hook up...

I think I bought my first player in 2000 or 2001. IIRC it was a couple of months before the final CD-i sale in the Philips Employee Store, good old times :).

22ER9051
CD-i Thumbstick

22ER9055
CD-i Commander

22ER9012
CD-i Roller Controller

The first two look like new; I also have boxed version of the Roller Controller available (these are used though). And I also have the original box
and manual available for the 210.

Yes, those CD-i players were designed as audio components, not as game consoles. Take a look at the FW390i for example :).

The technical aspects of the lynx were much better than the gameboy and the gamgear. Too bad the color screen drained the batteries .... And there was no-one to play a comlynx game with because I didn't know anyone with a lynx... etc...
