Please help me how to use certain html tags, like how to post an image right here, how to link text to an URL, i really don't know. Thanks!

Okay i'll give this one a shot but to display the correct text i'm going to have to exchange [ for ( so in effect when I quote ( you have to use [ got it?

Here goes:

To post a URL
(url)http://www.cdinteractive.co.uk/(/url)
http://www.cdinteractive.co.uk

To post a URL with text:
(url=http://www.cdinteractive.co.uk)CDinteractive(/url)
CDinteractive

To post an image:
(img)http://www.cdinteractive.co.uk/forum/im ... .gif(/img)
Image

It's all just below the part where you put the subject for a post, simply click a tab and it enters the text for you!!

ok.. so it has to be an image that is stored on some internetsite? or is it possible somehow to upload images to the forums from my harddisc? Or am I missing the point?? :-)

you can also link from an external site, merijn.
If the images are stored on the CDinteractive server, you can link from here.

It works, it works!

maybe I wasn't clear on what I meant: if an image is stored locally on my pc.. can I upload it directly to the forums, or do I need to upload it to a website first and then link from there?

you should upload it first...
you can't upload directly using the html tags...

No I undererstand that.. I was hoping the forums would have some image uploading facility, as deeplinking can be frustratingly difficult with all websites having different policies on that..

is there also a code where you can post an image, while the image itself links to a certain page. Just like the top left logo. (?)
