The full term is "CD-I BRIDGE DISC"; it is just a CD-ROM XA profile that specifies a mandatory CD-i application. Both VideoCD and PhotoCD are bridge disc applications.

Although bridge discs do not strictly conform to the "Green Book", all CD-i players support them as far as I know.

Thank you! It just popped up in a list which kind of formats the cd-i actually supports, but it's nothing else than a Photo- or Video-CD...

Like CD+Graphics, and they weren't even available in the Netherlands, or did I miss anything on that?
