No Sound in many Games

Post by Boojakascha » Sun Jan 13, 2013 1:26 am

Hello

I have, as others before me in this forum, no sound in the stages of Link The Faces of Evil and Zelda The Wand of Gamelon and really no sound in Arcade Classics.

As the complaints of the others disappeared: was there a solution for this issue?

I read that the guy who made cdiemu is in contact with the MESS guy. The same files (cd-i BIOS and Zelda games) do work on MESS. He could maybe ask them how they did it.

The current development version already has sound for these titles, but it was mostly developed by me and then passed to the MESS guy instead of the other way around. Unfortunately, the development version of CD-i Emulator is not currently "out there" while MESS is, being open-source.

Thank you for your reply

I think that are great news!! =)

I will gladly buy your version after I am satisfied with the test. I realize that there is much work behind a project like this, and I think it's just fair to pay the work.

It makes me happy to hear you are still working on it =)

Just for your Emulator I have bought a Gravis Gamepad and Adapter to have the authentic CD-i feeling
