Do you have a CD-i BIOS downloaded to your computer? You need this in order to get the emulator working. Once you have this, the emulator will detect it automatically and you'll be able to open any Philips CD-i ISO you have.

It may be a good idea to read the documentation at the homepage of cdifan: click here

If this is not the problem, please specify your question a bit more ...

Where does your ISO come from? Possibly the file is corrupted, have you tried that?

and which title are you trying to play? Are you sure it's compatible with the emulator? check the Title Support section at cdiemu.org for that.

Does the screen go blank when you press the "play" button of the CD-i player?

If so, the CD-i image is probably corrupt or not compatible (yet). If not, then your ROM may be corrupt. No error messages appear?

Also something not common to most emulators, after selecting the desired ISO you wish to play it's necessary to click on the "Emulate" tab and then select "Start".

If this is the wrong help just say so and specify your problem in greater detail, we're more than happy to assist

Or use the "Start" button on the toolbar (it has the familiar play icon from all media players that I know of).
