Hi everyone

I was just curious to know whether the cd-i 660 player suffers from the NVRAM memory warp, or can you change the CR2032 battery as you can with the cd-i 370?

It may be nice to compile a list of players that have a replaceable battery, like the 370, the Sony portable, and perhaps more. I don't know which because they are very rare!

Devin might know more: "as early as 1992 when SONY came out with the portable CD-i player, they had the wisdon to include an easily replaceable battery to backup the memory with. Also the later desktop non Philips brand players had a simple replaceable button battery. In fact everything non Philips seemed more robust in design and technology."

So anyone, which players have a replaceable battery?

Philips cdi-370 ( the same as a goldstar GPI 1200 player )
Philips cdi-360
Philips cdi-350
Philips cdi-740
Philips cdi-470
Philips cdi-450
Philips cdi-220
Philips cdi-210
Philips cdi-205 (a PAL version of the philips cdi-910 player )
Philips cdi-660 (but on ebay for sale)
Grundig cdi-100V (the same as a philips cdi-220/80 player )
Magnavox cdi-5000 (the same as a philips cdi-450 player )
Sony IVO-V11

And according to the user manuals of these player only the Sony IVO-V11 and the Philips CDI-370 have a user replacable battery.

I haven't opened up all the player to have a look inside, if there might be a replaceable battery inside or not.
