That's a nice unit! But after 15 years, the TV is even more fragile than the CD-i player. I would be afraid it won't live long anymore...

I have one for my kid to play with and it hasn't shown any problems so far. He has already figured out how to control the VideoCD application with the remote; only just two years old...
But my unit has spent years being unused; your mileage may vary.

Just to let you guys know that the seller is now prepared to ship the item but you are required to arrange your own collection.
Looking at
http://www.ups.com this could work out expensive.
Hope this is useful to somebody (I may chance it and bid IF I can get a decent quote on shipping (i.e. around 70 Euro would be nice)

I've seen several of these for sale around Eindhoven over the years, always in very good condition. I think they were mostly used as portable demonstration units and wouldn't have seen much use. Mostly just sitting inside a flightcase somewhere on a shelf.

I think Eindhoven is a wrong place to compare this to. CD-i was practically born here, and with the Evoluon, the Philips Store and IMS settled in Eindhoven, it's pretty obvious many rare and obscure CD-i objects can be found here. Ofcourse, that's a bit over now in 2009....

I got that one. Still was cheaper than the current going rate for Zelda's Adventure. Unfortunately all couriers I've checked so far only offer express service which is around 500 euro. If only the seller would use La Poste than it would only be 150 euro according to the website.

500 Euro for shipping! wow, that's alot - My friend moved all is stuff from is house australia to is house in england for less than that!
Hopefully you'll only have to pay the 150 EUR all being well
