Are there any people here from the US who have experienced the rise and fall of the Philips/Magnavox CD-i in your country? I'd like to hear stories from people who have bought a player in the USA, how the marketing was like and the availability of CD-i in the first place. Most of us around are from Europe which has a bigger cd-i history because Philips has its origins in the Netherlands. But a big part of the cd-i development was based in the US with a whole different culture to fight in rather than in europe.
