Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Post by vwrafi » Fri May 05, 2006 12:52 pm

Hello . I've got this version of Philips CD-i player - CDI210/40P . And on the www.icdia.co.uk i can't find this version . It is made in Poland . Maybe somebody know something about it . It is very strange , because those players wasn't so popular in Poland .

the 210 is in the list, here - perhaps the P refers to Poland...?

That should be correct. I think all players not made in Belgium had an addition letter to show the country of production. It was certainly not especially made for the Polish market, as the label says "Funkentstört nach [...]" which is something only required in Germany.

Maybe not popular, but cheaper to produce.
