Perhaps you remember my post about HoogSpel in the blog, now Tyball responded to me the whole list of CD-i titles which have been discussed in HoogSpel magazine: At least don't think CD-i magazine was the only magazine spending their time on CD-i ;) Thanks to Tyball for the list, now I have to trace these issues!

I have an almost complete Excel file that tells you exactly in what magasine a specific game or title is mentionned, and if it's a review, preview, ad, game hints, ... I am currently trying to get it finished, but it's a lot of work. Anyone interested can send me a message, but I'll let you know when it's finished first.

Hi Bas,

I've been real busy. Lots of stuff going on. We had elections here in Belgium in October, and since I'm an active member of a local party here, responsible for all communication with Head Office and press, I had a hell of a lot of work with that! But that's over now, and I'm trying to concentrate on 'child nr. 2' that's on his/her way and should be a member of our family somewhere around the 14th of February. So even more work there on trying to give 'child nr. 2' a nice and cosy room...
Oh, and I still have that very demanding job! We had a couple of new product launches this year. Products you all know, I'm sure. And from an IT p.o.v. this always comes with a bunch of... work.

But now I'm really back and I'm gonna give my CD-i website a higher priority status and make sure I don't abandon it for months.

How have you been? I've been catching up on the forum every now and then...

Great to hear all that Mathias, you sound like a happy man! With me everything is fine, the workload is high (but you understand it's a very different kind of work!) but as I'm with a computer the whole day it's easy to check in once in a while! There's no child coming up for me, but what is going to happen: I (I as in we) bought a brand new house. pret-ty cool, although they still have to build it. So I'll get very busy around 2008, which takes soo long...

A new house, that's pretty cool indeed! I guess you've told the architect that there should be a room big enough for your entire CD-i collection, hardware and software? Knowing you have quite a bit of CD-i stuff, you're probably gonna call it 'the west wing' of your house! :-)
Anyway, that is something to look forward to.
And just let me check something...
... No. I haven't got anything planned for 2008 so if you need a hand to help you copy... errr... I mean 'move' all your rare CD-i discs, just let me know... ;-)

However, what kind of exciting plans do you have for philipscdi.com?

Firts of all, I've been learning PHP so that I can create a db-driven website. One of my co-workers told me I was crazy to create the website entirely using only html. I have to admit that creating a single page for each title, was quite the task. I'm only happy that it's only CD-i. I'd love to see someone do it for a complete Playstation database. :-)
Anyway... I'm finally gonna start writing my own reviews and collect more titles and information AND write some walkthroughs.
I have some other stuff planned but I'm gonna need some help on that. I'll contact you and Devin (Hi Devin 8) ) about it soon, but privately.
