i have been offered a cdi 350 portable from a guy who won both of them on ebay in december, he outbid me cos there was a confusion in the quantities available, it is brand new and boxed but i read on the main site that it needs a docking station for the dvc, if it does not have this how hard are they to come by? he want's £90 plus £7 postage do you think i should buy this or will i be left with a machine that has very limited use?

Don't buy. £90 is too much, even if it would have the Docking Station + DVC included. The Docking Station is impossible to come by separatly, and without it, the 350 is rather useless -- unless you are a hard-core Philips / CD-i collector.

That would be the maximum I'd spend on a decent 370 complete with battery, leads and the box. Certainly not for a 350.

how easy/hard is the 370 to get hold of and what sort of prices do they go for, also do you know anyone selling one or will be in the near future?

No! It becomes available now and again on the various regions of ebay but it's not all that common.

You can always find one on eBay. Here is one, currently at $68:

Crazy. I paid 33 Euro for mine, and it was on eBay as well. I guess if I would list it on eBay now with the new and working battery, it would sell for 300 Euro...
