Omniflop and CD-I floppy format

The latest version of OmniFlop (
http://www.shlock.co.uk/Utils/OmniFlop/OmniFlop.htm) lists the OS-9/68K 3.5" DD 38W7 format. Is this format supported by professional players?
The 38w7 format is an OS-9 RBF format, but I cannot find a description of the format.

The monniker 38W7 is meaningless to me. Is there a disc image in this format to be found somewhere?
Anyway, OmniFlop only makes disc image. You still need OS9 software to reach the files in that image; I believe there is something called OS9Tools that does this.

Omniflop can read and write disks. I used it to create X68000 floppies.
