Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

Sorry for bumping up this old topic Bas. But, as you might remember I've been fascinated with the Nintendo titles on Cd-i. Did you ever manage to dig up anything else on this or contact anyone from the now defunct (i'm assuming) developers or associates who worked on this game.

In short, yes. But nothing to share... yet ;)

This would have been the first 3D mario version ever even before Super Mario 64. Also it would have been more of an educational game rather than an action game. It's no platform game! Plus seeing a polygon mario on a 'real' video background (so no computer background but just direct movie video of landscapes) it kind of weird. Still, it's Mario!

We're still hunting on that demo which apparently was shown at some conference! Jorg has seen it...

Bas you are amazing lol.

I can't wait to hear this new info. I also hope you track down the demo, as trying that out would be awesome.
