What is it like? Is it a game or a story-book, perhaps with minigames just like most children titles? I remember you said it was produced by SPC Vision, but the cover doesn't mention SPC Vision in any way, or am I totally wrong here :?

It's an children's title about farms, containing educational movie clips and a number of minigames, with lots of small animations for the the maus characters. There are also a few sing-along songs. The basic organisation is by season (spring, summer, autumn, winter). Its a DV title and completely in german.

The cover doesn't mention SPC Vision, but the on-disc credits do.

The abstract file on the disc says

Code: Select all

Die CD-i mit der Maus - Auf dem Bauernhof

Children's title based on the well known childrens figure "Die Maus".
The bibliographic file gives away the secret

Code: Select all

        Maus auf dem Baurnhof

             Production T1 New Media
  Technical realisation SPC Vision BV
Also the copyright file says

Code: Select all

(c) 1995 SPC/Vision - T1 New Media
Here are a few screenshots from the intro clip:

At this point CD-i Emulator currently crashes, so I cannot give you a screenshot of the credits screen

"La machine a remonter le temps" also sounds pretty French to me.
"Coproduit par BAYARD PRESSE, DUPUI et le CLUB D'INVESTISSEMENT MEDIA".

The pack juegos have 3 international games in spanish: Burn:Cycle, Asterix y el desafío del César and Inca.

The pack Cine have a random VCD films (Star Trek?, Mission Impossible?). I don't remember the titles because I lost the box in a moving a long time ago. Sorry :(

After exists another two packs: "Cultura" (Camino de Santiago, Van Gogh: La cosecha del sol and El Renacimiento de Florencia) and Infantil (Escuela de Pintura, Aprende inglés con Stickybear and La calle más animada).

In addition Salvat offers to encyclopaedia-cdi buyers enter in a cdi-online beta. I don't know people who have test it.

Hi all!

More CD-i titles from Spain:

Antonio Vega - Oceano de Sol (promotional musical report for CDi VideoCD, not for DVDs)
100 Obras Maestras de la Pintura (Art report, but my CD has a big 2 print inside, so it must be part of some kind of Art collection I supouse...)
Los placeres del S-e-x-o (S-e-x-u-a-l encyclopedia, also launched in English)
UEFA Champions League 95/96

Also as it's said up there are a lot of Spanish only versions of several classic CDi titles like Burn:Cycle or Renaissance of Florence, that list is "quite" big, I'll post more later...

Bas wrote:I guess, yes, I've never seen a member here who has a copy. For a long time we even thought it was only a prototype CD-i (we only have a french and dutch prototype). Out of the blue a french version appeared on eBay a few years ago, which gave me the possibility to snap some nice pictures. But it showed the french version was actually released in 1998.

However, the dutch version remains to be prototype exclusive, as far as we know ;) And what's even better, it's a very nice game, it's a mix of platforming and minigames. But you have to understand the dutch or french language to understand. (So Devin doesn't get the point  )
I've managed to get my hands on a copy, but the release date on mine says 1995 not 1998. Heres some pics

how strange are those product numbers: "SCHTRFR4021", "SCHTRFR4041" and "SCHTRFR4011"! a different one for each of the manual, disc and back cover.
