Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

Just found a book all about CD-i. It's really quite an interesting read and takes stock of the early history of the format and also a few technical elements about terms used for this new 'interactive' medium. It also states how PIMA announced the agreement with Nintendo to use its game characters. Pretty much word for word as Bas has noted
here. Also games that were announced but remain unrealised includes the Uninvited, Deja Vu and Sim City is also mentioned!

Hmm, what is the title of the book? I might be interested in reading it as I like stuff like this.
All the Pigs are all lined up. I give you all that you want. Take the skin and peel it back, doesn't it make you feel better?

Seconded. This is not the CD-i Designers Guide (or something like that, I forgot the exact title)?

Yes, but not those handbooks.
New Media seem to have commissioned it as an introduction to CD-i. Includes some interesting dates and the time of various events which brought us to 'interactive media'.
