Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

Does a CD-i system exist with component, hdmi, or vga output? Is s-video the highest quality you can go without modding the system?
Currently I'm using a CD-i 450 system + DVC. It works well but the video output leaves alot to be desired.

Oh that's me, I love 3DO, CD-i, NUON, Laseractive, and other relics of technology.

All Philips CD-i players with Euroconnector (SCART) on the back can do component as well as S-VHS. I think this includes all the 210 and 220 models.

And yes, there exists a CD-i player with VGA output. Although I don't remember if it did full-screen or only windowed output.
