Gir Draxa's old cd-i site archived by geocities.ws

Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

I remember this site from ages ago... When did it go offline?

"Ten years after Yahoo! bought GeoCities, the company announced that it would shut down the United States GeoCities service on October 26, 2009 and GeoCities websites actually became unavailable on October 27, 2009. There were at least 38 million user-built pages on GeoCities before it was shut down."

It was not hosted on geocities and archive.org doesn't have it either so you're out of luck :/.

That site has a nice retro charm to it.

See? This is why I feel Internet pages, even those that never ranked in the top 100,000 webpages, should be preserved.

Wow, just stumbled on this doing a random search on 3DO.

To be honest, I thought I'd been forgotten.:) 3 moves and lots of relocating of my collection made keeping up with the rest of the Collective's members difficult at best. Between that, and the lack of web space (Never could get stable access to the space Devin provided :( ) I just kinda put the Collective on the back burner. I still have both 100% archived (even the test sections of an Xbox & Sega CD version of the Collective) if you folks want, I can try to get access to the space again and upload it.

Thanks for the comment btw about it's "retro charm", I even have an old version that was designed to be Web-i friendly if you REALLY want that "retro" look. lol

Let me hear from you.

Hi Drax. I would love to see anything you uploaded, especially the 3DO collective!

Btw, if you get a chance you should drop in on the 3DO forums and say hi. :)
