VGC has new CD-i reviews

Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

Yay Thunder in Paradise! I like that game, both for its awesome cheesiness and the HEALTH BAR, which makes it better than any other FMV shooter.

Yeah, Thunder in Paradise is one of my favorite CD-i games.

I need to try this out with a gun, I was playing this the other week with a control pad set to slow - nightmare... Wasn't much easier with the control pad on normal speed.

It has the two pointing things that point to where the enemy is gonna come out on X & Y axis which is VERY helpful, altough only on one level.

I can't get the gun (Peacemaker) to work with Thunder in Paradise..... it seems to calibrate fine but then the pointer is always way off center, and moves slower than in Mad Dog McCree and the other CapDisc games.

I recommend playing Thunder with the mouse.
