CID 210 price check ?

Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

CID 210 price check ?

Hi all, CDI newbie here wondering if what I am looking at buying is a fair price or not.

CDI 210 with battery mod and replaced drive belt, IR remote and Peacemaker gun (No games or Gamepad though) for £70 ?

Personally I find that expensive, but I dont know how the prices are in the uk. Here in belgium I wont pay more then 20 euro for one. It doesnt state that the battery is fixed in the auction

I actually contacted the seller to ask them to check the battery, they did and found it was dead, then moded it and replied back to me saying such.

So in conclusion to much then at £70 ? even with the battery mod ?

I'm afraid on ebay, these kind of prices are pretty normal... That replaceable battery mod is nice, and neccessary for the future. Personally I'd wait and try to get my hands on a LG GDI-700M, a Goldstar GPI-1100M or a Philips cd-i 490/470 (probably the easiest to get your hands on)
