Do you own any prototypes or beta versions...?

Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

oh by the way.......I am in contact with a former cdi developer who for the moment wishes to remain anonymous for now...he may have some prototypes in his possession. I will definitely talk to him about it!

Now that's always interesting! Go for it cdiplayer! If you need any help with questions or information, I'd be glad to help. I love the stories from former cd-i developers: I'm looking forward to more info!

That would be very interesting having a prototype of a Mario game. ^^
I just have the prototype of Super Mario's Wacky Worlds (downloaded and burned on a CD). But about Mario takes America, i never heard of it until now.

allright! cool yeah he shared a piece of concept art with me from a canned game he worked on. but I won't post it since I'm not sure he wants to make it public yet....he says he has a lot more lying around and he just needs to find it.

hello cdiplayer, how's it going? Is there anything you can share with us about your contact? Or is it slowly fading away...

Yeah actually he says he worked on a cancelled cdi game known as Reality check and that he has some early concept art that he may be willing to share.

About time!

Can you e-mail some close-up shots? Can't really make out what some of those interesting discs look like from the photos. Typical prototype CD-i CDr discs though, very nice find!

Very quick wasn't I :?

I'll get some close ups to you or would a list of titles be more useful? I've also got loads of professional titles I should get listed (that I bought at the same time as these discs) maybe there is some interesting stuff there as well?
