Monty Python CDi Titles

Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

Here's another one I have to kick outta the Games Archive!!

Recently picked up all three Monty Python releases but i'm yet to watch/play them, pretty sure two out of the three are non game releases however. I'm a Python fan so I might watch them tonight and let you know!! I think Philips had a hard time cataloguing these so put them in a unique category of their own

the other two are just video-cd's, yes...

Well, even 'Invasion from the planet Skyron', is by no means a game, just an oddity, where lot of things happen when you click somewhere, and you gain points absolutely randomly.

Just some exploration in the world of monty python, just like Xplora. But, with a lot of frustration!

Hi,

I have "Monty Python's More Naughty Bits" - very amusing, some nice CD-i-specific animations in addition to the usual Python clips.

This isn't a VCD - it only plays on the CD-i.

All three titles are mentioned here, about a quarter of the way down the page.

yes yes, it's a 'digital video on cd-i'-format. It's basically just video-material, technically it's not a video-cd. 'digital video on cd-i' is a cd-i specific format, but it's just video.

confusing formats...
