Post by phatmario » Fri Mar 28, 2008 6:17 pm

hi, just joined the forum and would like some info. i am a retro collector and am very fond of cdi's most of all. i have a 350 portable but have a problem with the power supply, something loose inside. my neighbour is very good with electrics and is trying to fix it but struggling. can i get a replacement anywhere?

I think eBay is your best bet.
Search for a defective CDI-350 or CDI-360 player, they should have the same power supply.
But some earlier CDi-360 players (I think the 350 was released after the 360) have a power supply that outputs at lower power, making a 350 unstable if used with that. (check what is says on the power brick: 360 or 350/360)

thanks. got a feeling could be a long wait! presume no other power supplies on any electrical item would suffice?

Not that I'm aware of. The CDI-350 uses a very specific connector on the power supply and requires multiple voltages.
