you should provide more info - what type and format of CD-i player are using?
what about the game - is there any scratches? is it a burnt copy?

um its in good condition as far as I know and it is not a copy its an actual one and I'm using a cdi 450. and the format is north america.

Once I left hotel mario on for a while without playing it, then played a stage and the sound went all... uh... "weird" on me; only for one stage, though. I'm sure it's a normal problem with most cdi titles... but then again...

This happened to me once before too, though it was only once and when I reset it was fine.
