What kind of solder tool I should use?

Hello CDinteractive,
I want to replace my (Dutch) CD-i 470 Timekeeper battery as it is dead.
But before I do that, I need to know three things:
What kind of Battery I should use? (2032 I think ?)
And how to solder the battery to the CD-i Timekeeper without breaking/exploding the battery.
And most importantly, which solder tool should I use. As I've had one before, but it broke. I just don't know which type I should get, a 40W? I just totally don't know.
