Burning Video Cd's to work with the CD-i

Post by tpgb12 » Sat Apr 12, 2014 1:00 am

Hey. I would love to know how to burn VCD's so that I can watch some of my favorite videos on the CD-i. Whenever I attempt it, the Play CD-i button comes up, but the system crashes when I select it? Any tips? Thanks.

This happens when the CD-i application is not included on the Video-CD. At least it used to be, I haven't burned a video-CD in ages :) . I also wouldn't know which recent cd-burning programs support this. Maybe you could copy the CD-i program from an existing video-cd, although I doubt that would work.

The last time I made a VideoCD I used NERO 8 and Windows XP, it was way back in 2001.
Todays Nero does not work for Cd-i.
