Question about the Philips Peacekeeper light gun...

Post by dave4shmups » Thu Jul 10, 2014 2:37 am

Does the Peacekeeper gun require any kind of IR receiver, like the ones in this ebay auction?: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Philips-CD-i-IR ... 3ce027fc63

My concern is that, if it does, that would make playing light gun games on the cd-i even more expensive.

No, you don't need the 22ER9054 IR-set for the peacekeeper. The peacekeeper lightgun comes complete with a IR-emitter, the sensor is in the gun IIRC.

The 22ER9054 set is for the CDI 450 and the FW380i, which do not have a IR-receiver.
