CDI 910 Battery Is Dead

Post by Kao » Sun Sep 11, 2005 12:22 am

Hey, I have a CDI 910 from way back in the day, and I absolutely love it. Sadly, I found that the internal battery has finally died (the system's memory and clock are cleared every time I turn the power off).

Does anyone know where the battery is located on this machine and if it is at all replaceable?
It's like 1993 all over again!

A few threads in this forum with similar problems, have a little read around them and you'll see we're leaning towards either a complete replacement of the NV-RAM Module or working out a way to attach a battery on top of the empty battery chip.
