Thrown a few more Game Facts onto the page along with full boxart scans for the European version with details about the packaging.

Not sure about Hi-Res!!

It's quite difficult to get really good scans and would take some expensive equipment to get an identical image of the original scanned material. What i'm doing in these updates is to take a large preview scan of the material in this case CD Covers, aligning the image perfectly level and then cropping the picure to the exact size making sure no detail is left out. This is across the board for all images which you may have noticed are all the same sizes for once!! Hopefully these new resources do the colourful CD-i Games Covers some justice and people will enjoy viewing them. I'm going through great lengths to get the best image quality I can and standardising the entire thing.

USA scans of The Apprentice to follow!! :D

Okay it's been updated with the USA cover scans both front, back and also the Picture CD as best as a CD can be scanned anyway!!

I was using the wrong resolution originally, wondered why it was being so awkward to scan properly

I should hope so, it takes in the region of half an hour to scan a regular CD jewel case complete with Front, Back and Picture CD. Going into the editing process to align everything perfectly so not a pixel of artwork is missing!! The advantage is that once it's done it's done, I never have to scan these again... thankfully.

I'll probably end up taking high quality pictures through my Digital Camera of these American games as well to show off the closed sleeve which the CD jewel case slipped into. Before you ask, the design is identical to the CD jewel case Box Art with the only exception being the printing around the trims which states "Games", "CD-i", "The Apprentice", "310690167-2" and "Philips" all in graphic design of course.

That should finish off the boxart for The Apprentice as i've just added the European Picture CD. Can I take a day off for good behaviour now?

The Abstract, Bibliographic and Copyright information has been added to the Game Page. Also corrected some inaccurate information in the Game Facts column, checked the American and European release and both contain the same number of tracks the only difference is that it plays a different track for the introductory sequence which is where the misunderstanding arose from in the first place!! Did you know the Space Invaders game that can be accessed using the cheat codes was in fact an early prototype version of the Invaders game from Golden Oldies 1?

Thanks to Craig otherwise known as davcrag on these forums we can now offer you the promotional footage for The Apprentice from the 1994 Winter Sampler Disc. Most of the videos from this disc tends to show the introduction with some gameplay footage the later apparent in this video for The Apprentice showing the first level in action. Again this video was obviously created during the pre-release days of the game as it features a prototype Game Over screen which later evolved into the Marvin crushing Panda scene which we now know can be changed to a whole host of different scenarios!!
