ebay auctions

Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

ebay auctions

A few interesting things i've found on various ebay sites:

CDI Player Philips aus Fahrschule , inkl. Scanner

CDI Software Fahrschule Vogel Klasse B,M,L + CDI Player

CDI Software für Fahrschule

All looks like the driving lesson software that Michiel mentioned.

I've heard two things about this, that the software won't work without a special player and tat someone could adapt a normal player to play the software. So my guess is that the software is looking for s special file in the NV-RAM.

I presume the players supplied with the auction would do the job if so and the key is in a NV-RAM file we could extract it using CD-i Link and have a download to make every CD-i player special :D

Not sure I feel like dishing out that sum of money for those auctions though for what would be pretty niche support anyway!! Very interesting however.

He's finally got his ebay store all up and running then :D

If he still has copies of Golden Oldies and similar titles i'd grab them now as these are becoming quite scarce and they are excellent games to boot!!

It's just the name of their model. Apparently they also have a CDS.
Plus the remote doesn't seem to have a thumbstick...
